The nice part of this is that many bloggers are now making money by just posting to their blog. There is money to be made by blogging and it is the easiest way to make money being online. If you will already be on, you might as well make some money. There are a few different ways that you can monetize your blog. One of the most popular is using ad sense. If you use Blogger which is owned by Google, then you are in luck as it is already built in to the templates. If you have even seen those little ads posted that say sponsored by Google, then you have seen ad sense in action.

Adsense allows the user to make money being online by placing ads on their page that are related to the subject/topic/theme of the blog. Once someone clicks on one of these ads the user gets a commission ranging from a few cents to a few dollars. Not bad huh? Thought it was impossible to make money being online? Think again.

The Problem

You just installed Microsoft Vista and you decide it�??s time to open Yahoo messenger and send and instant message to a friend but it won�??t work! This is not only a problem for you, it is a problem for all Yahoo! messenger users. Since one computer uses Vista and the user of the other computer users XP, the messenger does not work. Sadly, there is no updated version out at the present, but there is one in the works, and boy, does it sound amazing!

Problem With Yahoo! Voice

In addition to the messenger not working, other features of the messenger, for example, the voice feature that allows you to have a speaking conversation with another user, also does not work. The reason for this problem is the same as the reason for the chat messenger not working as well.

New Features Of Yahoo! Messenger

Some of the new features of Yahoo! messenger will include new stunning graphics that will correspond with Vistas graphics. You will see amazing new emoticons that really look more like people instead of cartoons. That�??s not a huge improvement but it gets better. In addition, you will also be able to change the look and feel of your messenger to compliment your desktop. This really doesn�??t effect me, but it may bother others who think there messenger �??clashes�?� with there outfits.

For those with interests, the new version will group your friends in your Yahoo interests. This way, you will know all the interests of all the new people you meet allowing you to talk more fluently. this feature will surely improve the conversations of people who are afraid to talk about things that may not be of any interest to the other. Now you can finally discuss the fiscal policy of the United States with that girl you just met seeing that she is grouped in the politics area.

Another great little added feature is one that allows you to add all your contacts from Windows Live to your Yahoo contact list. This will allow you to IM all your friends using one messenger. (I guess this is a way to capitalize on the instant messenger business and drive people away from Windows live�?�but shhh�?�don�??t let them know to your new found knowledge�?�just go with it.)

Finally, the other new features allow you to organize your conversations better through new drag and drop tab features. Also, the new Yahoo! Messenger sidebar tool will allow you to better see who is online and ready to talk.

Although Yahoo! messenger is not ready yet, you can look forward to a new version coming out. This version is better than the one your using now. If you don�??t have Vista and are not considering making the change, you may not have to because I�??m sure Yahoo! will come out with a version for XP users as well.

Yahoo directory is particularly worth submitting a link into in order to get listed on the yahoo search engine. Since yahoo will obviously place higher weight on sites listed in their directory, so it would be expected that a site placed in yahoo directory will improve its ranking on the yahoo search engine.

There are many other directories on the internet. If submitting your website to many directories, it is important to use different text on each directory otherwise the text will be detected as a duplicate and may therefore not be displayed in search results.

If you list your site in many directories then that can be a cheap way to build up links from other sites that point to your site. However, some directories have been removed from Google’s cache. Many directories show signs of being updated much less frequently in Google cache’s than before.

Directories that are especially targeted are those that sell paid links purely for link spamming. Yahoo directory and similarly reputable directories remain unaffected by this purge. Another measure of the quality of a directory is its pagerank and if its homepage has a pagerank of zero or is unranked, it would be best avoided.

Nevertheless, even if a link ceases to be counted in Google, it may still be worth the time and effort if it means that your website can still be marketed in other search engines like yahoo.

Do not use link exchange directories or directories that require a 3 way link exchange as this can be seen as black hat SEO by Google and could get your site banned.
